Richard Hamilton

Richard Hamilton serves as the Head Coach of the Agoura Stingrays.  His son Luke Hamilton is a volunteer in the Agoura Stingrays program and a member of the Agoura Water Polo Team.  Dr. Hamilton is the CEO and a board member of a start-up company, Prosper Genetics, which focuses on epigenetics and its impact on health and longevity.  Previously, he was the CEO of an agricultural biotechnology company, Ceres, which was sold to Land O’Lakes in 2016.  Dr. Hamilton has served on a number of advisory councils and governing boards, for industry groups, academic institutions and the U.S. government, including the Biotechnology Industry Organization, Keck Graduate Institute Advisory Council and the U.S. Department of Energy.  Dr. Hamilton holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University and was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School.  He and his wife Kimberly have four children and reside in the Agoura community.

 

Peggy McClintick

Peggy McClintick has been an elementary school music teacher and private piano/violin teacher for 17 years. She has been the Club Administrator for Los Angeles Water Polo Club for the past 5 years and has previously served on the LAWPC and Agoura Water Polo Foundation boards. She has two sons and has been a supportive water polo parent for the past 11 years. 

 

 

Stefanie Rosen

Stefanie Rosen is a psychoanalyst and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Rosen has a private practice in Westlake Village and specializes in anxiety, depression and relational issues. She is a Region 4 board member of the American Youth Soccer Organization and also the co-president of the Agoura High School International Baccalaureate Program Parent Association. Dr. Rosen also served for several years on the City of Agoura Hills Community Services Coalition, which considered quality of life issues for teens and seniors in our city. Dr. Rosen has three children, one of whom is an Agoura High Water Polo Team member and Stingray volunteer.

 

Paula Hanover

Paula Hanover has resided in the Agoura Hills/Westlake Village community for nearly her entire life. She and her husband are both Agoura High School alumni and have 4 children who attend LVUSD schools. Their son, Chad Hanover, is honored to be a volunteer assistant coach for the Stingrays and an Agoura High School water polo player. Paula holds a Bachelors Degree in Communication from California Lutheran University and is a board member of White Oak Elementary School PFC, the Agoura Water Polo Foundation and the Agoura Aquatics Foundation.

Deirdre Shipstead

Deirdre Shipstead is a lawyer by training and a nonprofit management consultant.  A native Californian and graduate of UCLA, she was raised in Los Angeles, started her family in the Bay Area, and is proud her three college aged kids call Southern California home.  Her youngest son, Olin, is a Stingray coach, and a valuable member of the Agoura High men’s water polo program. A swimmer all his life, Olin understands how lucky we all are to have the Pacific Ocean factor into our after school activities.  Along with work and her family, Deirdre is on advisory committees for Rogue Machine Theatre, the premiere small theatre company of Los Angeles, and WISER Girls, headquartered at Duke University, an institute dedicated to the social empowerment of adolescent, orphaned girls in Kenya through education and health advocacy.
